Privacy Policy

Version 1.1, effective October 17, 2026.

The short version

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how VSF Marketing LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Tampa Services ("Tampa Services," "we") collects, uses and shares information on www.tampa.services and the Tampa Services portal.

2. What we collect

Information you give us: name, email, phone, ZIP code and address, project details, photos and videos, messages, reviews, support tickets, and for Pros business, license, insurance and payment records. Advertisers give business and billing details.

Information collected automatically: device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location from IP address, and similar technical data, using cookies and similar tools that keep you signed in and help us understand use of the site.

AI Guide chats: if you chat with our AI Guide, we keep the conversation to answer you, improve the guide and prevent abuse. A staff member may read or join a chat.

3. How we use it

To review and route your request to one Provider at a time, run your account, process Pro credits and fees, provide support, keep the platform safe and prevent fraud, send messages you asked for or agreed to, improve our service, and follow the law.

4. Who we share it with

With the Provider who accepts your request: your name, contact details, address and project details, so they can contact you. Providers who are only offered your request see the job details but not your contact details.

With service providers who host, store, secure or support the platform, under confidentiality obligations; with authorities when the law requires or to protect rights and safety; and with a buyer if our business is sold.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

5. How long we keep it

As long as your account is open and as needed for the purposes above. Records of consent, agreement acceptance, payments and lead charges are kept for up to 7 years for legal, tax and dispute reasons.

6. Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the portal, opt out of marketing at any time (reply STOP to texts or use the unsubscribe link in emails), and ask us to access, correct or delete your information by opening a support ticket. We may keep records we must keep by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights; we will honor them as the law requires.

7. Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls so only you, the Provider handling your request and our staff can see your request. No system is perfectly secure. The platform is not for children under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes and contact

We post changes here with a new version and effective date. Questions or requests: open a ticket at www.tampa.services/support/.

9. We are a platform, not a contractor

Tampa Services runs a website and app that shares information and passes service requests to independent local businesses ("Providers"). We do not perform, supervise, direct, inspect or guarantee any repair, installation, construction, maintenance or other service. We are not a contractor, subcontractor, employer, agent, partner or joint venturer of any Provider or customer, and we are not a party to any estimate, contract or payment between a customer and a Provider.

Nothing on the platform is an offer by Tampa Services to do contracting work under Chapter 489, Florida Statutes. Any work is offered, priced, contracted, performed and warranted only by the Provider.

Where we show "License & insurance on file," it means only that a Provider gave us a number or document at a point in time. It is not a promise that a license or policy is current, valid or enough for your job. Verify a Provider yourself, for example at myfloridalicense.com, and ask for a certificate of insurance before work starts.

Our articles, cost ranges and checklists are general information, not legal, insurance, engineering, tax or financial advice. Local rules and permits vary. Confirm with your building department or a qualified professional.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT A PROVIDER WILL BE AVAILABLE, RESPOND, QUOTE A PRICE, DO GOOD WORK OR FINISH A JOB, OR THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, TAMPA SERVICES, VSF MARKETING LLC AND THEIR OWNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS (THE "TAMPA SERVICES PARTIES") ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR FOR ANY ACT, OMISSION, WORK, PRODUCT, PRICE OR CONDUCT OF ANY PROVIDER, CUSTOMER OR ADVERTISER.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TAMPA SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $100.

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for our own fraud or intentional misconduct.

12. Disputes: informal resolution, arbitration and class-action waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights.

Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, send us a written description of the problem and what you want, using a support ticket at www.tampa.services/support/ with the subject "Legal notice." Both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.

Binding arbitration. If we can't resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the platform will be decided by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (for consumers) or Commercial Arbitration Rules (for businesses), and the Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator decides all questions, including whether a claim must be arbitrated. Hearings will be held in Hillsborough County, Florida, by phone or video, or where the law requires. For consumer claims we pay the filing and arbitrator fees that the AAA Consumer Rules assign to a business.

Exceptions. Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Hillsborough County, Florida if it qualifies, and either side may ask a court for an injunction to stop misuse of its intellectual property, data or platform.

Class-action waiver. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine claims of more than one person. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim (and only that claim) goes to court and the arbitration agreement does not apply to it.

Jury waiver. To the extent a claim goes to court, both sides waive a jury trial.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after you first accept these terms by opening a support ticket with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" that includes your name, account email and a clear statement that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

Time limit. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred, unless the law requires a longer period.

13. Florida law and venue

Florida law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration section. Subject to the arbitration section, the exclusive venue for any court action is the state courts in Hillsborough County, Florida or the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. General

Changes. We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new version number and effective date and, for changes that materially affect your rights, tell you in your portal or ask you to accept again. Changes don't apply to a dispute we already know about. If you keep using the platform after a change takes effect, the new version applies.

Whole agreement. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy, the Communications & SMS Policy and the Review Policy, are the whole agreement about the platform. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them with our business.

Electronic acceptance. Checking the box and creating an account (or submitting a request) is your electronic signature. We keep a record of which document, which version and when you accepted it.
